Selma – Introduction to Autocross
Saturday 12 February 2022 @ 10:00 - 15:00 CST
Let’s meet at the San Antonio Sports Car Association’s (SASCA) autocross event! The event is being run under the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) rule book and there will be Tesla owners who have participated in autocross before to answer questions and share their experience. You can just come to watch, ask for a ride along, or drive the course.
For those who just want to watch, there is no cost but you will need to sign a waiver (available at the event). Cars run from 10AM to 4PM. Total of 3 heats, each heat is roughly 2 hours long.
For those who want to ride along with someone going through the course, you will need to sign a waiver (available at the event) and have a helmet (loaners available at the event).

We are guests at this event. SASCA has had to work hard to secure this venue with River City Community Church on a regular basis. There is to be absolutely NO performance driving on or near RC3 outside of participation in the autocross course. NO demonstrations of summon, light show, etc. Kids and pets are welcome in the spectator area but must be under positive control since there will be cars and people moving around quite a bit. No R/C devices (model cars, drones, etc) as the frequencies can interfere with course timers.
Let’s do our part to be a club that people want to see at their events.
